my comments

.
I agree with Melany about the whine factor, for a while there I thought I was reading about Meredith from Grey's Anatomy.
I liked how the author explored their friendship and made us understand how and what brought these girls together. Perhaps because of that I couldn't understand Cameron's behavior, not that I condone what Sonia did, but I felt with time, she should have talk to Sonia, and given her a chance to explain.
Her feelings were too over the top at times, similar to a 12 year old or someone who hasn't matured with age. Come on, she was 30 something!
As I was about to be fed up with the whole novel, in comes Will, whom I now liken to Michael Phelps (sooo cute!), but I digress. I liked their story, but again Cameron comes very close to losing that again when she throws a temper tantrum, because she could not understand that the world does not revolve around her and people are not out to get her!.
Anyone who has experienced the loss of a friend, know it can be very hurtful, this novel definitely made me reconsider some things, and I admit I did shed a tear.
The end could have been more conclusive, but I guess it was realistic.
Overall, I give it 2.5 stars (out of 5), and it's in my "Recommend as a 3rd book when reading 4 or 5” category.
